Finally, after working closely with the server host, our site is back online!  We are also back online with a new look!  Comment in this post on how you like the new look, and maybe a color scheme you would like to see implemented in this simple, but elegant layout.

Sorry guys for the recent downtime.  I am currently fixing the site due to an upgrade in the software used to make the website.  It broke tons of things, and I am trying to get it back to work.  A new theme design may come through this downtime!

I will be at Macworld this Thursday and will be covering it with me and my camera. Expect photos and videos of me there during the weekend.

Welcome 2009 everybody. My New Year’s Resolution, is more activity on this blog and higher viewership!

The title says it all!  This is a tip or trick as you may call it, to stop programs (mostly background processes) from starting up when you just boot.  This tip will save you time when you wait those long minutes waiting for your computer to get “settled” in before you can do anything productive (because those times, the computer is either really slow, or unresponsive).  This tip will stop those programs from starting up, making the programs that startup automatically that you don’t need, won’t start up to make booting up a faster process.  Click read more to find out!

We are staying up! Thanks to the good folks at wordpress.com they are providing me with some free hosting services!

Long live [laatedaa?]!

My blog is closing next month due to stupid Paypal issues.  I will never go back to Paypal ever again and their service sucks really badly.  My account got limited for no reason.  They want me to add a bank account which I don’t want to do after what happened here and all the stories I have heard happen to others’ money “disappearing” from their bank account.

So unless I have people pay my hosting bill for the site, $14.95 / month, the site will have to close.  My next bill is due on the 6th of August.  Any help is appreciated while I get another account setup.  If you want to help me out, email me at andrewngo1760@gmail.com  I can send proof that my account is down and invoices.

It was a good year for the blog.  I hope I can continue to run strong in the near future.
