Because I do not have the resources to buy or paint a wall for green screen purposes (as well as the lighting equipment to do so), I decided to film an in-game movie using the most versatile game, Garry’s Mod, a sandbox editor based on the Source Engine, allowing you to do anything you want.  On the GarrysMod.org site, I found a lot of addons and plugins to go with the game.  I found a few camera / in-game movie filming tools as well as some green / blue screens for chroma keying.   Click read more to watch the video I made, in HD. Last year, I posted a $400 low budget gaming computer but that has been long outdated (another $400-500 one is coming soon) Here are my recommendations. This is a full build, so if you have some spare parts, they may or may not work with this build, although the hard drive, dvd drive, etc… are user replaceable. Did you just replace a computer part or something similar and Windows XP is forcing you to activate your computer, once again? Does it loop the activation, as in, when you log in, it will ask you to activate, you hit ok, but logs you out afterwards even though it says “Successfully Activated”? You can fix this problem and gain access to all your software again through a few simple steps through Safe Mode.  I have a Macbook Pro and installed Windows XP on it via Boot Camp.  After a few days of usage, this annoying loop had hit me and I was locked out of all my files and documents, rendering my XP side useless.   Read the rest of this entry »

It’s frustrating when your out and about and need to use the internet but either 1) don’t want to pay any money or 2) you want to try out some special software and crack some WEP keys. Maybe you heard on the internet somewhere that someone can crack WEP in around 10 minutes.
