Comprehensive Review, Electronics, Technology
After a Logitech G7 crapped out on me last month, I called Logitech tech support to see if they could fix it. There was nothing that they could do and they said they could do an RMA and send a replacement. They said, unfortunately, they don’t have any G7s in stock. I could either wait for them to be back in stock or I could get either the G9 Laser or the MX Revolution. As a gamer, I opted for the G9 Laser. I didn’t even need to send anything in, just a fax of the proof of purchase (receipt), and I was done!
A week later, the G9 arrived and I was drooling over it, after having used a Logitech VX Nano (notebook mouse), which cramped my hands after long usage. Read the rest of this entry »

Codes, Electronics, Random, Technology

I just started collecting these Coke codes, starting last month and I got enough points to get some slick prizes. I can tell you that if you do not work at a gas station or do anything that requires handling of Coke material, than collecting points is not a feat that you can do alone.
It requires much more than just the 3 point bottle caps. You will be needing the 25 point codes located on the bottom of the 32 pack cans of any Coke product. I collected 30-40 of these pieces to boost me up to 1000 points.

Comprehensive Review, Electronics, Gaming, Technology

After 3 months of usage, I am finally writing a review for this great product. My previous mouse, a Logitech MX600, was not good enough for what I was doing, I needed more raw power and precision for my mouse. The mouse styling is nice and sleek. The curvature of the mouse is perfect for ergonomics and it feels like the mouse was molded for your hand. When you have sweaty hands, this mouse seems to “wicks” the sweat away so that it always stays nice and dry while doing your intense gaming or work.

nVidia’s GTX 200 Series Graphics Card Benchmarks!

Most definitely, nVidia’s new line of graphics card can sum up the greatest graphics card ever to be made (yet). nVidia always WOWs us and blows are minds away every time they introduce a new line of graphics cards. In it’s history, the greatest performance increase from it’s family are (argubly) from 7 series –> 8 series. This week, it can finally add another huge performance increase to it’s family. Sub $500 dollar gaming computer.
This configuration is for people who don’t have the cold hard cash to buy a $2k+ computer or for those who like to do some casual gaming while having the horsepower to do their workstation work. I present to you, my friends, [laatedaa]?’s $400 dollar build. It works great and fine as I just built one myself for a friend and it runs modern games without a hitch. Also it is “future-proof” meaning that you can always upgrade when these parts go haywire. I took many things into consideration when looking for these products and what goes with what. I found out that this combination of products works best.
In the beginning, I was debating whether or not to use AMD w/ ATi, AMD w/ nVidia, Intel w/ nVidia, or Intel w/ ATi. I found out the most cost-effective, or as many of you guys like to call it, BANG for the buck, I went with an Intel / nVidia path. It worked out fine as Intel’s processors do a strong doing while nVidia’s high end cards are not very pricey, although this particular model is almost half of the $400.

Apple, Electronics, Rumors, Technology
As the WWDC keynote Steve Jobs is giving, more speculation, more leaks, and more rumors. Just what an Apple Fanboy needs. The firmware was supposedly leaked and many tech sites such as Engadget has covered the story. They dug deep into the firmware finding a few things that may be likely to pop up on Monday. GPS and Tri-Band HSDPA? Hmm!!! That GPS feature that has been highly rumored is very likely to be in the next iteration of the iPhone.
