2010 New Year Demonoid Invitation Code Giveaway

In light of the new year, I will be giving away 5 Demonoid Invitation Code. To enter, post a comment below and say how you would be able to help the Demonoid / BitTorrent community. Also include which BitTorrent client you use, and most importantly, your email in the email line so I can notify you if you are the winner.
Please post only once in the comments, or else you will be disqualified. Multiple entries will be deleted as well.
Entries will be closed on 1/31/10 11:59PM PST. Winners will be drawn and announced shortly afterwards.

I have been looking for an invite for years now, I always manage to not get it. Well if I can get an invite i would upload newer torrents, seed ones which are on the verge of dying, help people with their torrent problems [ i do that now] and offer valuable feedback to improve the entire BitTorrent community. I am using uTorrent mostly but BitTorrent and Vuze too. I am working on my own client too. I will put it up on sourceforge called Jorrent as soon as I roll out the first alpha.
Really hope I get the invite!!!

I have been looking for an invite for just about 9 months now…im honestly just looking for a source of entertainment for my family..mainly movies and games…i always seed and will help contribute to the bittorrent community as much as i can..whether or not you decide to send me an invite id like to say thank you for the chance!!

On these other sites there are so many people who leech and do not contribute anything to the torrent community I contribute now but I would like to be able download without waiting 2 weeks to finish 1 download. I have torrents seeding now that have a ratio of 44.53

i look up rare collections i have, and if they arent up/dont have seeders i like to get them back up and running.. ive seen 8 million lady gaga torrents, i think its important to keep the rare stuff alive…

Forgot to mention how ill help the community, i would be seeding lots, upload speed is 1mbps, I use Utorrent and my internet connection is uber fast. I will also be uploading some of my videos and donating to the organization. I am a utorrent user and have been using the BitTorrent system for years. Intelligent downloading and uploading through peer guardian. Always seed until at least 1:1, but I try to go longer. I also never bitch and say “seedz0r pl0x” and the like. Will follow all terms and conditions. Thanks for the chance if not for the code.

Thanks for the opportunity to be included in the draw,it seams like the only chance we may have of getting one.
I presently use U torrent,I had been using Vuze but i found Utorrent to be the basics,just for our needs.
This may sound a little corny,but we have recently retired and do volounteer work with the elderly and 4-5 year old special needs kids,i make the dvd’s for their entertainment.If any of you have young kids dowmload the barnyard movie and back at the barnyard,it will give a few hours of peace.
I also intend to re-seed,in order to return the favour.

I’ve been torrenting for a long time now and have been wanting to join demonoid for some time now.
I’ve been trying my luck by checking registrations regularly but with zilch results.
Using Vuze now and would love an invite code.
Aside from the promise that i will seed as much as possible and contribute to the torrent community, i also promise to use my demonoid account to bring about world peace by using the power i gain for good and not evil.

There are hundreds of top 40 and pop artists and movies on torrent sites. I have hard to find music and movies that I would love to share with people.
I also have a pretty good library of audiobooks as well.

Thanks for doing this – I’ve missed out on too many chances to get on to Demonoid!
I use Azureus/Vuze. I can help because I have a nice big machine which is usually on 24hrs/day connected to a fairly large pipe on an ISP which doesn’t throttle torrents – so seeding’s not an issue.

I am a pretty decent user, in another private tracker I joined I managed to upload 450 gigs within my first week there, and that was a pretty small place without that many users. At demonoid I could probably do a bit more. So yeah, I have a decent amount of upload bandwidth, and could easily be very helpful in that way (though of course a big site like that probably won’t see much of a difference, but still it would probably be more so than most of the people here.) I tend to like to keep my ratio above 2.0 at the very least, and sometimes above 4.0 just so I don’t have to worry about it so much. I use uTorrent 1.8.5. I’d be very grateful if I could get an invite, I’ve wanted to get into demonoid for a long time now.

One has to wonder how good the site really is, I mean with all the hype that surrounds it. I’ve been researching for some time now and the name comes up all over the net. Good for you guys, a good rep is hard to come by but then again with all the begging going on here I suppose your name gets around.

Way back when Kazaa was thought to be “the sh*t” I am a level 20 colonel, not the highest ranking but to those who are familiar with BiTComet you know I have been around for a min. I have used demonoid from time to time and always luvd it and have always been asking for a invite. I just don’t have enough friends that are members(almost 0, i would say 1 but he just went on vacation.. looks2 be a extended federal one, staying in close quarters with all men) Most people i know are still on lime wire.. I use utorrent and have heard great things about demonoid for over a year. Not having an invite didn’t bother me much until this happened………..
On the 24 July 2009, an Order was made by the High Court of Ireland requiring internet providers to block or otherwise disable access by its subscribers to the website thePirateBay.
This was effective from the 1st of sept 09.
As you can see an invite is more of a need rather than a want for many irish torrent users such as myself.
All i can say is I have a socialist view on life and I believe in family and community and as such seed both vintage and new files.
I hope to hear from you with an invite but either way may you and yours have the best of luck in the future.

I believe i would be one of the best candidates for an invitation code. I use utorrent, and have been using isohunt.com, although I have not been using them to much lately. N E ways, i have about 320 gigs of great quality movies, tv shows, music, etc.. and i always seed at least a 1.5:1 ratio. More importantly im not a spammer, joker, or anything like that. If i were to get in i wouldn’t plan on passing any invites to anyone except 1 other person i know who i think would be a good asset to the online community as i would be.

Honestly, i’m new to this stuff and have no idea how to improve your system. I just heard from a friend that your site is the best source of entertainment I’ll do my best to be of help when given the opportunity. Will be using utorrent as recommended too.

I have been looking for an invite now for a couple of months. I try to check Demonoids website daily to see if registrations have opened up. I am always DL files, movies, and programs for the fun of it. I always seed and I upload a lot of stuff people and looking for from what their comments say. I have a ratio of 1.5:1 if I do get the invite I would only send out one invitation to a friend who is also involved in as much torrenting as I am.

Well, I would definately love a Demonoid invite. What I do to help the scene is nothing too far from what I’m already doing, rating torrents, uploading rares, and seeding the good torrents to keep them alive for others.
The internet is made for sharing, and each and everyone of us can do our part to improve the experince for others.

I would become a valued member by posting well thought comments and queries in the forums. I would keep a 2.0 seed ratio where ever possible on anything I might download. I would assist the the uploading various materials that I might have downloaded at one point or another.
Also, my torrent program of choice would be uTorrent.

I’m Dane and I am here asking for what everyone else seems to want. I would like one of those Golden Tickets to Demonoid, and of corse I mean a Invitation Code! After skimming all the comments, I use what most of everyone else uses, uTorrent. I love it, works amazingly. My first week of Demonoid was amazing, I loved it. But then I was not allowed to use it anymore and it sucked. Demonoid has a lot more stuff then Pirate Bay. When I was at Demonoid, I always seeded. Helping out as best as I can and will continued if I am one of those lucky ones to get the code. Thanks!

I use UTorrent. I have a wide range of content to contribute from music to ebooks to TV/video (particularly the latter as I travel between the UK and US and use my Slingbox to capture TV/video I have access to abroad etc. . I’m a faithful seeder and I’m always HAPPY to capture and upload content by request as well.

I recently discovered Demonoid. Most of my shows are there and because one needs an invite I am unable to watch them. Living in another hemisphere from where my is country, I find it difficult to see my favourite shows. uTorrent is what I have been using. Unfortunately I do not know how to upload videos, so in that aspect I would not be able to help, but what I have I would seed so others can upload…….until I learn how to actually upload videos myself. I wish I couls say something witty or useful to help you choose me as one of the lucky ones, but I am at a loss of words. Thank you anyway for giving me the chance to dream. Best regards

I would like to have an invitation code due to the fact that I have many applications in software design and media design to upload. I would seed all day long. My Bit-torrent client is U torrent.
