Because I appreciate my readers of the [laatedaa?] blog, another Demonoid.com Invitation Code Giveaway contest is now underway for the month of July 2009. We are giving a Demonoid invitation code to 5 (five) lucky readers who comment on the blog between now, and July 31st 2009 ending at 11:59PM PST.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
Entries start today and will be accepted up until July 31st 2009 at 11:59PM PST (please, 1 entry per person or else will be disqualified). Next to your comment will be a number (starts from 1 and goes up sequentially), and with that number, I will run a randomizer script. The script will choose 5 (five) numbers and the people with the numbers that the script chooses, wins.
To enter, all you need to do is post a comment (along with your name and email address) on this post saying why you love [laatedaa?], and perhaps a simple explanation of why you would need such a code. Only 5 lucky winners will be chosen at random, and will be sent their invitation code if they are chosen winner by the randomizer script.
Also, I will not give any codes out until at least 50 entries are entered.

Wow this is really great of you to be giving away codes for demonoid. I would desperately love a code, I’ve been trying for months and months on end now and the one weekend the registrations opened I was away. I’m a girl gamer, one of few in SA and I love your blog because of all the new up to date PC and technology posts you add on here and to be quite frank I’d love to make the boys jealous with a demonoid account

Here’s the deal. I want to set up an onion node in tor for some people who can’t use bittorrent at school/work due to network nazis. Ive proxied people before, and been promised an invite in exchange for the service, only to be given a bogus code. I am hoping that my plea for a code will work on you because:
1) I godwinned the post with the Nazi reference.
2) Karma alone should get me an invite
3) My handle has gotten me banned from more games/sites than I can recount.
While none of those reasons relate to laatedaa I am hoping that on moxie alone I qualify.

Hey, well I’m a mechanical engineer student and I gotta say your blog has brought into my attention a lot of interesting things. I love computers, love technology, love machines and your blog has a little bit of everything which is why I come here often. Hope you keep up the good work here!!! Oh and as for the code, I download a lot of books having to do with quantum physics, mechanics and such things, and also some computer programs and stuff I like to tinker with.
