I acquired my Macbook Pro in November of 2008 and love it to death till this day. I am not sure how I can live without it. Now there are two parts to enjoying your laptop. 1st is the hardware, which the Macbook Pro surely doesn’t lack. 2nd is the software that goes along with the Mac. Apple’s smart marketing tactic by adding iLife to every Mac makes it just much more valuable to get a computer that comes with a full digital media suite. Read the rest of this entry »

It was the largest crowd in history to ever have witnessed a presidential inauguration.
A record-setting 1.8million people crowded on to the National Mall in Washington DC yesterday to watch Barack Obama become the first black president of the United States on the steps of the Capitol Building.

Codez4mac
I have recently stumbled across this site, Codez4mac forum which specializes in Apple software, as well as many Mac OS X programs that one may need in BitTorrent form. Because the Mac community is so closely knit, sometimes, it can be hard to find the exact program you need. Read the rest of this entry »
Recently, I have been listening to a lot of You Look Nice Today, a podcast of emotional hygiene. It’s a podcast where three guys, lonelysandwich, scottsimpson, and hotdogsladies talk about the akwardness of life. They are freaking funny when it comes to awkward situations and they know how to handle it 1000x better than our attempt at it last summer. Not only are they funny, but you also learn some weird things as well. I believe that many of you guys who check their podcast out will really like them. Read the rest of this entry »

Today, me and some friends hit up the public transportation (BART) after school and went to San Francisco to the Moscone Center where Macworld was held at, as always. Even though it was two days after the start of the expo and also CES is starting up, there was still a hustle of people wanting to get free prizes, and all the website reviewers wanting to get the latest update on all things Mac. Me and a few friends were lucky enough to have registered very early, so we got free tickets to go inside the exhibit hall, where hundreds of third-party Mac vendors showcase their goodies, ranging from iPod cases, to server backup technology.
Here are just a few pictures I took during my 3 hour adventure in the huge Moscone North and South buildings. Click the jump for the pictures. Read the rest of this entry »
