Nice try but tuneclone isn’t freeware and the trial version limits one to a 3 minute song length. Didn’t bother to check what it costs and don’t care. Tired of throwing away money for programs that don’t do what I want. If the trial would do it, I’d buy it. I know that the author is just trying to make money and protect against theft. (Given the nature of this product, that is a bit ironic.) As I said, it’s my money though and I’ve been burned too many times by paying for a product that just didn’t do what I wanted it to do. Thanks anyway.

Well, you can either do the CD method, or today, Apple announced that you can un DRM all your songs for 30 cents a pop.

The trouble is that this is lossy. Any iTunes track or MP3 has already lost information in two ways: the first time through digital sampling, and the second time through audio compression. Uncompressing and recompressing the track to remove DRM degrades an already degraded song further: strike three!
