THX Sound Demos and Bass Test

For those Audiophiles who like to test their integrity and their power of their sound system, I present to you, THX Sound Demos as well as a Bass Test for high subwoofers. I only recommend using these files with high end drivers or subwoofers because you may accidently blow your speakers out playing these super loud bass files.
I can say that for my computer speakers (Logitech Z-2200), with 400Watt RMS 8in Subwoofer paired with two 120Watts satellite speakers, it was seriously rumbling my room with the Air Raid. I highly recommend putting the bass up pretty high and kicking the volume up really high to seriously feel the effects.
The second MP3 file is the THX movie intro that you normally hear in the beginning of movies in THX certified theaters.
Lastly, the third MP3 file is a 100Hz to 25Hz step in 4s and after that a 250Hz to 100Hz step for the hardcore bass testing.
I will try to find more demos so more testing can be done.

The specs you list for your speakers are wrong but thanks for the files. I have the Z 5500’s (505 watt rms total and 1010 watt peak power) and my sub is only 188 watt RMS and the satellites are like 60 each RMS x4 and the center channel is a few watts more… I believe the Z 2200’s are only 200 watt rms total and 400 watts peak.

You are correct about the Z-5500’s
But the Z-2200s, Which is the same as the Z-2300s
Listed on the Logitech.com’s website:
200 Watts RMS
400 Watts Peak
80 Watt Satellites
120 Watt Subwoofer
So you were half correct on those. But thanks for the heads up!

It was just the 400 watts RMS subwoofer line that made me do a double take. In any case your collection of test files is awesome… and Logitech makes some seriously nasty computer speakers.

They do, I am still trying to find test files (more movies with huge bass, such as Iron Man).
