Update 2/22/09 New Comments Code!: http://www.laatedaa.com/2009/02/22/view-private-myspace-comments/

Update 11/10/08:

Try this new method if the user is on Myspace profile 2.0

http://www.laatedaa.com/2008/11/10/myspace-20-loophole/

This [laatedaa?] guide is meant to show people the steps on viewing someone else’s Facbook or Myspace profile without the need of any confusing and messy codes that may in the future be patched.  The technique used below is the oldest form of obtaining information.  It’s called social engineering.  I’ll take social engineering to the next step by applying it to be able to view private Facebook or Myspace profiles.  This method is highly effective and will 90% of the time work.

The following steps are intended for educational purposes only.

Although this may be considered time-consuming, you will definetly have all the information / pictures you want from the target person.

Step 1

Find your target profile, the person who you want to view their private profile.

Step 2

If you know their friend ID, type that into the URL where the friend ID is supposed to be.  If not, search their name in the search friends field until you find that person.

Step 3

Click on “View Friends”.  This next step requires in choosing someone who you think is kind of close to the person but not best friends because we are going to make a “fake” Facebook profile that matches the target friend’s name and picture.  If you know what school they go to that would be nice.  If you know their graduation date, even better.  If they are currently not in school, maybe try a co-worker, or outside friends.  The more you narrow down, the more likely the target person will add you as a friend, opening the doors to all their information.

Step 4

Carefully choose one of their friends and make sure you note their name and copy their picture to your desktop by right clicking the image and hitting “save as”.

Step 5

You will need to create a new email account or use a spare one you have to create a new Facebook / Myspace account.

Step 6

Use the information taken in Step 4 (Name and Picture), and fill in all the info about their friend into your “fake” profile.

Step 7

Add all of her friends that go to the same school (and perferably same graduation year).  Having more friends makes it look more legit, before adding the target to your friends list, that you are an actual person.  Most of the time, the target will not even know that there have been two of the same names in her friends list.

Step 8

Add your target person using your “fake” profile and wha la!, the keys of the locked door are given to you!

Variations

One variation of this method is to find the target’s school (high school or university) and create a profile for that particular school.  Make it sound enticing so that they would join the profile such as “San Francisco High School Class of ‘04″  Then find a picture on Google Images and add the target as well as all the people in San Francisco High School ‘04 to make everything look convincing.

Conclusion

Of course there is a very small chance that you may pick the wrong friend to create a profile of, but the chances are very slim.  90% of the time, the target will add you, letting you read all about their profile.  The only way to make this method sucessful is to find the right friend and keeping everything legit.  Also, you need to get the target’s friend’s name correct and make sure you use one of their pictures!  If all goes well, you will be one lucky person.  Repeat for every profile you want to view (yes, I know, it can be tedious).

Eric – I don’t think you need that many friends. Just like around 7-10 would suffice. I know a lot of people who personally don’t check each other’s profiles and just adds them without thinking twice (I know I do).

Jesse – I shall post a code ASAP once it is found! I know you guys are waiting patiently here. There is bound to be one soon :)

Alot of people really don’t even refuse friend requests from a person who has alot of friends. Someone more intrepid than myself should really set up a sort of myspace accoutn just for this sort of social engineering thing and share teh password with us here. Nothing really to lose since the entire profile is fake.

How would you guys like it if I created a forum (thread style topics) for you guys to discuss all these matters? I think it would work out simplier than the comment style threads that are hard to manage after 20 comments long. The other FB post has over 200 comments.

You act as if you wrote this. Why dont you try giving credit to where you got the idea from buddy. Of course,] you will say “oh someone sent it to me on my blog.” Whatever dude, you just keep lying and denying but anyone who knows how to use google, and cares to, can figure out that you rip off other peoples ideas.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is really pathetic that you troll code sites and you rip off their codes and then post them as if YOU made them. And then you make money off of someone elses work. Why dont you learn how to make codes and ideas for yourself buddy. Or try going out and earning an honest living. Probably out of your realm I bet.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go ahead and delete this comment if you want, because will keep replacing comments everyday that you delete them so you are wasting your time.

well to be honest, it isn’t that original of an idea. anyone can make a fake profile and try to add their targets on it. maybe andrew’s approach seems like its copying (i’m guessing from the GUG private boards), but its pretty common sense.

i agree with lyla if you get to look at it is not a big deal at all, because right now myself i’m checking some other sites out about codes etc.. and they have the same thing only in short little words “like just create a fake profile and add the person blabla this blabla bla that”. same thing hack the reason why i search other sites is to get a different code or something. thats what the internet is for. hey Lyla what private boards are you talking about is it those where people have to pay right.

Do you receive any other information on other sites? As in do they have codes I don’t have jesse?

Guys, please register up on the forums at http://www.laatedaa.com/forums/

I would love to get to know all of you guys better and personally. We can even start a Facebook / Myspace thread in where we can try to add the targets profile in hope of getting in!

hahah check you out andrew don’t get me wrong dude i would soooo love that idea about the facebook/myspace thing. but i don’t known

jesse, yeah the GUG boards have a private section where they post codes, but you have to pay for those.

the trick andrew posted can work, but sometimes people really do refuse friend requests from people they don’t know.

    any new leads for codes?

@Dave – That site grabs people’s passwords using an illegitimate way. They will setup a site that mocks the layout of Myspace or Facebook and whenever you enter your email in there, your info is logged, which is then transferred over to plain text so they see your login info. Don’t do it guys, trust me on this one.

I tried this and it worked! Well I simply made a copy of someones account. I didn’t even have to go through the faff of adding friends.

I did it, grabbed a ton of pics and deleted the fake account.

However I must say, its a bit of an anti-climax being able to finally see the pictures. Somewhat depressing, but whatever.

I had some luck (accidental) with running the myspace ID # on the web, came up under the coolchaser layout site, complete with all pictures from the person’s myspace account. The original myspace was public, where I first saw pics, then it went private, but apparently the coochaser site keeps the pictures…so there they are again.

The thing is, when you make a profile it says how many friends you have and stuff.. and I know you can block them from seeing friends but it also has a thing on Facebook that says “This person is new to facebook, help them get started.. suggest friends, comment on photos.” or something, and it may be sort of suspicious for the person who you are adding..
