Genius’ Suggestion Tells Me That John Lennon is like…

I thought after hearing iTunes 8.0 new feature, Genius, I would give it a shot. For those of you who don’t know what Genius is, it is a little tool in iTunes that searches your Music library and it will suggest you new songs that you might like based on other people’s library. It can also create a playlist in one-click by clicking a song you like and it will find all songs that are similar (at least somewhat so far) to the one currently playing.
Amusing suggestions!
I tried this baby out but when playing Imagine by John Lennon / Beatles, it recommends me songs out that don’t fit into the genre. And this is with a over 20 GB of songs in the library with many from John Lennon and the Beatles. I find it pretty funny what they recommend me. Hopefully when more people upload their info to iTunes Genius, they will recommend better songs. Other than that, it has been pretty good, and I have already purchased a few songs easily just from the sidebar. Just another way Apple is eating our money!
I took a screenshot of the picture to show how amusing this is.
I play Imagine by John Lennon and I get Hash Pipe?!?!? MGMT?!?!? How amusing.
