My blog is closing next month due to stupid Paypal issues.  I will never go back to Paypal ever again and their service sucks really badly.  My account got limited for no reason.  They want me to add a bank account which I don’t want to do after what happened here and all the stories I have heard happen to others’ money “disappearing” from their bank account.

So unless I have people pay my hosting bill for the site, $14.95 / month, the site will have to close.  My next bill is due on the 6th of August.  Any help is appreciated while I get another account setup.  If you want to help me out, email me at andrewngo1760@gmail.com  I can send proof that my account is down and invoices.

It was a good year for the blog.  I hope I can continue to run strong in the near future.

I just watched the news today and heard a new interesting tidbit from one of the doctors that did a little clip for them.  It’s about how to protect your skin to the hot summer sun.

Little did many people know, the color of your t-shirt adds a layer of sun protection that is like sunblock.  The following are measured in SPF, or Sun Protection Factor.  The higher the number, the more protection from the sun you are going to be receiving.

I just started collecting these Coke codes, starting last month and I got enough points to get some slick prizes.  I can tell you that if you do not work at a gas station or do anything that requires handling of Coke material, than collecting points is not a feat that you can do alone.

It requires much more than just the 3 point bottle caps.  You will be needing the 25 point codes located on the bottom of the 32 pack cans of any Coke product.  I collected 30-40 of these pieces to boost me up to 1000 points.

I think I am going to start posting my Yelp posts on here for those local readers who want to read up on what is good in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I think this is a good start.

“I was not going to post a review on Yelp about this because of the hundreds of other reviews but this froyo place stood out so much that a review was needed.

I have had a few other frozen yogurt places but it did not compare to this.  I have been to Frozos (Santa Clara), IceBee (San Francisco), and their frozen yogurt did not compare to what Red Mango served.

So now you know Hydrogenated Oils, High fructose corn syrup, and enriched foods.  Here is a list of these bad ingredients that you should watch out for.  Also there two lists of snacks and drinks without these bad ingredients.

I took inventory of all the unhealthy / man made ingredients snacks that can be found at many grocery stores, gas stations etc.  I ordered them by either Snacks or Drinks and whether or not do they have Hydrogenated Oils, High Fructose Corn Syrup, or Enriched material in them.  Most of these following snacks and drinks are very common and are the ones that are most consumed.  I took the liberty of looking at all of the ingredients in the gas station I work at to see what foods / drinks I can eat and what I cannot.

Rationale

Lately, there has been a lot of talk about eating healthy, eating organic, or eating green.  But some of these foods have bad chemicals that people put in to preserve the food longer.  I would like to contribute a few tips to eating healthy foods that your body can understand and breakdown.  Also I believe that educating the people will make them understand what they are eating and putting themselves into.  There are three specific types of chemicals I would like to analyze today and they are the Hydrogenated oils, High fructose corn syrup, and Enriched foods.

I would like to say that I am not a doctor or anything but I have read, listened, and watched many documentaries and interviews about doctors talking about these three bad ingredients.
