Product Review: Logitech G7 Wireless Laser Mouse

After 3 months of usage, I am finally writing a review for this great product.  My previous mouse, a Logitech MX600, was not good enough for what I was doing, I needed more raw power and precision for my mouse.  The mouse styling is nice and sleek.  The curvature of the mouse is perfect for ergonomics and it feels like the mouse was molded for your hand.  When you have sweaty hands, this mouse seems to “wicks” the sweat away so that it always stays nice and dry while doing your intense gaming or work.

How To: MLA Style Paper Format for Microsoft Word

This is a short how-to on how to write a paper, or essay in strict MLA format for Microsoft Word.  These are just the basics.  As with all sources, I highly consider you getting a book from Diana Hacker called “Rules for Writers.”  It is really helping me in this one college level English course I am taking.  Of course, as with any MLA style formatting, it is constantly updated every year so picking up the latest version of that book will really demonstrate how to do MLA style correctly.  Making sure your paper is MLA format is key in getting an “A” on your paper and not getting your teacher mad for having to look at your margins and seeing that they are 1.25′ instead of 1′.

Today, I will be covering how to do the Heading, Header, Title, and Works Cited (not citations) and a few other minor things.

How To Restore iPod Music Back To Your Computer

Ever had that time when your computer crashed (or you forgot to backup your MP3’s) and all your documents are gone?  Luckily for you, your music collection is not lost forever (hopefully).  You can restore your music collection via your iPod to your computer easily via iTunes, no other software needed.  Unfortunately, I have only found a way to restore this on a Windows machine.

How To Seed Private Torrents You Downloaded Before

This is a great tip to increase your ratio on private trackers. It allows you to seed a torrent through your private BitTorrent account that’s already been downloaded from a public site (or another private one). Thus, only the upload stats will be counted towards your ratio, without incurring any downloading against it.

I’ve seen this tutorial posted elsewhere, but I’ve cleaned it up and redone it as a complete, easy-to-follow walkthrough. Credits go out to all who’ve done it before.

NOTE: This hack is not considered a dirty trick, and it likely won’t lead to you being warned or banned by your private site.

Private Tracker’s IRC Channel Index

Here’s a massive list of IRC channels from most of the popular private BitTorrent sites. Similar posts have made their rounds throughout the BitTorrent scene — we’ve cleaned it up by updating the links and by adding new IRC channels; and we’ve also tested them to make sure they work. To make it even more handy, we’ve made the links “clickable” so you can launch IRC right from these links, without having to do all that cut/paste nonsense.

See anything not listed? Throw in a comment, and I’ll add it to the list.

Common IRC commands are listed at the bottom.
