How to unban yourself from Joint Operations (JO)

Update: Novaworld seemed to have taken the Manage Characterlist down from the new forum system. But lo and behold, I guessed the URL and it goes correctly.

This is how to unban yourself in JO if you have been given a “Character Ban” status if you were being stupid. Login to www.novaworld.com and go to account>manage characters.

You should see that you cannot delete your banned character. If you have 3 or less characters, make a new one so you have 4 total in the “Manage Characters” section. Now move your mouse over the delete link and notice how the number in the link changes. Copy one of the delete links and put in the number that does not show up. For instance if you see numbers 2, 3, and 4, that means your number “1″ character is banned. You need to put this on top of the URL bar.

This number is the character number ^

If you did it successfully, then you should see a gray delete button which will allow you to delete your banned character and it is if you had never been banned before!

Why BMW Service Sucks…

So I own a 2002 BMW 330i and a few weeks ago, the service indicator light turned on and indicated I needed to go do some tune ups. It has been already 70,000 miles so I decide, ok, let’s bring it in and fix some problems. They did a regular check up, and everything was fine until they told me my front brakes had only 2mm left. They said it would cost 600 bucks to replace the brakes and the rotors. I thought to myself that is a lot of money. I told them I’ll try to find some private car shops to see if they can give me a better quote. A couple of days later, I took my car to a car shop nearby my house and they have done excellent service with my other cars before and I am a regular there. I told them I have to replace the brakes. They took it up the lift jack, inspected it and they said there was no problem and I did not need to fix it. I thought to myself, what in the hell is BMW telling me then. I thought the car shop was giving me bull and didn’t want to fix my car but I brought it to another one and they said the brakes were fine and didn’t need to replace. I brought it back to BMW to see what they would say the second time but then they the rear brakes need to be replaced. I am like oh my god, never again, buy a BMW.
